B&A ENGINE REBUILDS

At B&A Engine Works, we like to keep things simple.  Our customers appreciate a simple approach to their engine rebuild and we prefer the simplicity of doing what we love and not stressing with a complex pricing structure. 

An Engine Rebuild with B&A Engine Works, for most all engines with few exceptions, is $2500.00 USD in labor + the cost for Parts.  

Parts cost will vary from engine to engine, but our labor cost will remain the same.

WHAT YOU GET WHEN B&A ENGINE WORKS BUILDS YOUR ENGINE

• Complete block preparation

  • Block Cleaning (inside & out)
  • Block Decking
  • Bore/Hone and/or Deglaze, as appropriate
  • New Camshaft Bearings (as applicable)
  • Crankshaft Inspection
    • Turning/polishing, as appropriate
  • Connecting Rod Inspection
    • Connecting Rod resizing (as applicable)

• Complete Cylinder Head Rebuild

  • Cylinder Head Cleaning (inside & Out)
  • Full Cylinder Head Inspection
  • Replacement and/or Reconditioning of all valves
  • Inspection of all Springs 
    
    • Replacement if necessary
  • Valve Stem Seals (new)
  • Valve Height adjusted to specification 
  • Valve Lash adjusted to specification
  • Cylinder Head Resurfacing 
  • Inspection of all internal components
    • Replacement, if necessary

• Professional Assembly of:

  • Main Bearings (New)
  • Rod Bearings (New)
  • Pistons (New)
  • Piston Rings (New)
  • Camshaft Bearings, as applicable (NEW)
  • Complete blueprint sheet of your engine & specs.  
  • An internally timed engine, with all timing components installed
  • Cylinder heads, lifters, pushrods and covers installed with new gaskets and torqued to specification.
