Santanna followed her passion and became the proud owner of B&A Engine Works, undeterred by the naysayers. In doing so, she is preserving a craft that has become increasingly rare. In a world where so much is disposable, Santanna chooses to rebuild, restore, and breathe new life into engines. A highly skilled engine builder with exceptional attention to detail, her work is defined by precision, quality, and durability. When Santanna builds an engine, it's built to last.

Steve Pinkerton

Steve became a part of the B&A team in April 2025, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in machining. A seasoned veteran of the trade, Steve spends most of his time in the back of the shop, focused on precision work and running machinery. On the rare occasion you see him up front, he’s likely checking in with Santanna for parts. While quiet by nature, Steve is approachable and straightforward—offering honest, knowledgeable insight into your engine build. 

Josh Brumley

Josh joined B&A in December 2024, bringing with him extensive experience in automotive repair, a field he has specialized in for most of his adult life. When he’s not meticulously refining engine components, he’s either assembling engines or further developing his skills under Steve’s guidance on the machinery. Josh is a valued and integral part of the B&A team.
